    Optimal Client Commands

Post  UCISter on Thu Mar 08, 2012 7:58 pm

In order to have the smoothest client experience, use these settings on your CS 1.6 client:

    rate 30000
    cl_updaterate 100
    cl_cmdrate 100
    cl_interpolate 1
    ex_interp 0.01
    cl_smooth 0
(Note: is it "smooth" not "smoothtime" as the console will try to fill in for you!).

I just need to correct one of your commands--it's "ex_interp", not "cl_interp". Wink

Also, I personally use ex_interp 0.01. The hitboxes are more accurate this way. 0.1 leaves too much guesswork for the hitboxes, so they'll be off.
